In this section, you’ll find listed all types of 100 VG e liquid (including the 100% VG organic eliquid) we stock.

The importance of VG and PG to vape juice lies in the fact that any and every kind of e-liquid primarily features two base ingredients: propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG). Now, many PG/ VG ratios deviate from the bog-standard 50% PG/ 50% VG ratio. Why is this? To help provide people with different vaping options.

But what is propylene glycol? A pretty much flavourless chemical that’s often used as a flavouring and colouring carrier in foods, PG’s what gives you a throat hit sensation and is thinner in consistency than VG. Don’t worry; it’s not toxic at all, especially when deployed as an ingredient in an e-liquid (not least 100 PG e liquid, of course).

By contrast, vegetable glycerin – which is somewhat sweet in flavour and, yes, basically created from vegetable chemicals – is responsible for enabling an e-liquid to generate vapour; as such then, its consistency is thicker than PG. Yet, just like the latter, it’s also totally non-toxic and the higher its amount in a vape juice, the smoother the vape – so, a high VG ratio (especially a PG free e liquid) ought to result in a properly smooth, satisfying vape with plumes of cloud-chasing-enabling vapour.

What VG/ PG ratio e-liquid should you buy?

  • For throat hits – opt for a high PG ratio; many (ex-)smokers understandably like that back-of-the-throat kick and that’s something that PG (along with nicotine) can deliver in spades versus VG
  • For smoothness – opt for high VG fluid; it’ll also provide more of a substantial, ‘thicker’ mouth-feel’; note, though, flavour can be very slightly muted in high VG fluids so you might counter this by turning up the power setting on your device, as long as you don’t exceed its voltage/wattage limits, of course
  • For stealth vaping – opt for a ratio high in PG, as it generates less vapour, naturally, which means vaping that’s less ostentatious
  • ‘Cloud chasing’ – opt for as much VG as possible (even 100 VG 0 PG e liquid) because here, it’s all about producing as many and as dense vapour clouds as you can.
